Trikuta Sundari
Daily recitation of Lalita Sahasranama and Soundarya Lahari. The union of bhoga and moksha.
Consult Acharya JiTrikuta Sundari is the goddess who is the mistress of the three kutas—Vagbhava, Kamaraja and Shakti Kuta. In the Shri Vidya tradition she is called 'Rajarajeshwari'. Most beautiful in the three worlds (waking, dream, deep sleep) and in the three times.
Maa Lalita's sadhana is like a Kalpavriksha for Kali Yuga. Where other Mahavidyas can be fierce and demand strict rules, the worship of Shri Vidya leads the householder sadhaka to moksha with love, beauty and prosperity. Astrological connection: Mercury (Budh).
Tripura Sundari means—most beautiful in the three worlds and the three times. She is the eternal youth of sixteen years, hence she is also called Shodashi. Her complexion is like the rising sun, reddish. In her four hands—Pasha (raga/desire), Ankusha (anger/aversion), sugarcane bow (mind) and flower arrow (five tanmatras)—these four symbolise turning the sadhaka's mind towards the Mother. She is Kameshwari; hence love and harmony in married life are sustained by her grace.
Where her form is described: Maa Lalita Tripura Sundari's form is described in detail in Brahmanda Purana (Lalitopakhyana and Lalita Sahasranama), Soundarya Lahari (by Adi Shankaracharya), and tantric texts such as Tantraraja Tantra, Shrividyarnava Tantra and Lalita Sahasranama (Uttara Khanda of Brahmanda Purana). These texts clearly describe the deity's four-armed image, garments and ornaments, bow and arrow, goad and noose, and yantra-mandala.
In Shri Vidya, Maa Lalita is worshipped in three forms—Sthula (gross), Sukshma (subtle) and Para. The sadhaka practises one or more of these as per the guru's instruction.
Maa Lalita is also known as Shodashi (eternal youth of sixteen years, mistress of sixteen desires), Kameshwari (presiding deity of Kamadeva), Rajarajeshwari (queen of kings), Kamakshi and Mahadevi. She holds the third place among the ten Mahavidyas.
The Shri Vidya mantra is divided into three kutas—Vagbhava, Kamaraja and Shakti Kuta. The Panchadashakshari (15 syllables) mantra is considered the core secret of Shri Vidya; the Shodashi (16 syllables) adds one more syllable. Diksha and method of the mantra must be received from the guru only.
The Shri Chakra has nine chakras—Tripura Sundari is enshrined at the central bindu; outward are the triangle, eight-petalled lotus, fourteen corners, outer ten corners, ten corners, eight corners, triangle and bhupura (four gates). Full moon (Purnima), Pradosh and the sixth day of the bright fortnight (Lalita Shashthi) are considered especially auspicious for the Mother's worship. Chaitra and Phalgun months have special importance for Shri Vidya rituals.

Adi Shankaracharya's Soundarya Lahari is an ocean of tantra and mantra. With Maa Lalita's grace, its verses are used for fulfilling specific desires.
