Essence and form: Tripura Sundari means—the most beautiful in the three worlds (waking, dream, deep sleep) and in the three times. She is the eternal sixteen-year-old youth, hence also called Shodashi. Her complexion is like the rising sun, radiant. Her four hands hold the noose (attachment), goad (aversion), sugarcane bow (mind) and flower arrows. Astrological link: Mercury (Budh).
